How It Works
We Visit
A Home Watchman technician completes your scheduled service — filters, inspections, cleaning, and any plan-specific tasks.
We Inspect
While on-site, we assess each of your home's key systems using a standardized checklist developed by home maintenance professionals.
We Score
Each system is scored individually. Those scores are weighted and combined into your overall Home Health Score — a single number from 0 to 100.
You Get the Report
Within 24 hours, your full digital report lands in your inbox. It includes your score, system-by-system breakdown, photos, and recommended next steps.
What Gets Scored
We evaluate seven core systems on every visit. Each contributes to your overall score.
HVAC
Filter condition, airflow, compressor cleanliness, and system age.
Plumbing
Visible leaks, water pressure, drain flow, and water heater condition.
Electrical
Panel condition, outlet function, smoke and CO detector status.
Roof & Gutters
Gutter blockage, visible shingle wear, flashing, and drainage.
Exterior
Siding, trim, caulking, and foundation visible condition.
Interior Safety
Detector placement, fire extinguisher, egress, and stair safety.
Appliances
Refrigerator filter, dryer vent, and visible appliance condition.
What Your Score Means
Your home is in outstanding shape. Keep up the routine maintenance and you're well protected.
A few items need attention but nothing urgent. We'll flag them and track them visit to visit.
Some systems need service soon. We'll prioritize and help you plan the right next steps.
One or more systems require prompt action. We'll walk you through what needs to happen and when.
